About me !

Welcome to Scarlet Sky Interiors  ..A dream that became reality in the Spring of 2020 ..The start of the first lockdown and a great deal of uncertainty but a new found freedom ! ...I was employed as a senior designer for a carpet design company and I used my free time to paint and express myself through pattern and colour.

As much as I loved working from a design brief it felt very liberating to use my passion of colour to create my very own collections! 

I have spent twenty five years in the textile design Industry after graduating from a fine art and textiles degree in 1999..Cant believe where the time goes!

The first few years after graduating I was employed by a freelance design studio . I then went on to design textiles, wall paper and carpets for well established company s and commercial and domestic locations all over the world  UK , Ireland and America. 

The Summer of 2026 is the start of a new adventure ! ..The year I have opened my first little shop in the beautiful Peak District town of Bakewell!
